GROUP Stage Summary 

On this 9-day football and tourism experience you will attend all 3 of Australia’s group games. Our tour will begin in pulsating Bangkok, following the Young Matildas and ending in seaside resort village of Pattaya. It is the perfect combination of taking in all that Thailand has to offer and passionately supporting Australia at the 2019 AFC Asian Championship.

Knockout Stages Summary 

On this 8-day football and tourism experience you will attend all 4 finals (Semi Finals x2, 3v4 Playoff & Final). Only the top 3 teams qualify for the 2020 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Nigeria. This tour is the perfect combination of enjoying a holiday in Thailand, staying in 5 star luxury resort accommodation and experiencing the best Women’s U-19 Asian football.

Bangkok: Rembrandt Hotel Suites & Towers (4 Star)

Pattaya: Renaissance Resort & Spa (5 Star)

The Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa offers 5-star services, several restaurants and spectacular facilities. This hotel is ideal for a relaxing stay with 2 outdoor pools, a children’s pool and a kids’ club. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and all units. All accommodation feature luxury amenities. They come with a flat-screen satellite TV and air conditioning. Each room has a private bathroom. Bathrobes and free toiletries are provided. Located in a vibrant area of ​​Pattaya, Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa is a 90 minute drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

Note that our packages are structured to meet operational and guest requirements. This means that there are items relevant to the tour that are not included in the packages listed above and will be an additional cost. We have listed them below so you can understand them prior to booking on our tour.

Group International Flights
International Flights are not included in the package price and are an additional cost. The GGArmy does provide an FIT group international flight and arrival/departure transfer service which can be added to your selected package. Contact us if you are interested.

Cultural & Sightseeing Day Tours
Like all our other tours on days that Australia is not playing a carefully selected suite of guided cultural/historical sightseeing day tours will be offered to all tour participants/guests as an optional additional purchase. Our optional sightseeing day tours are a great way to enjoy Thailand’s tourism highlights with other tour participants, building on  your tour friendships.

GROUP STAGE MACRO ITINERARY

Day 1: 26^th October: Guests arrive into Bangkok and settle in at the tour hotel and in the evening informally meeting fellow tour participants & guides at our Welcome Drinks event. Overnight Bangkok

Day 2: 27^th October: Match Day. Mid-morning transfer to our pre-match luncheon event venue. After lunch we transfer to IPE Chonburi Stadium for the 16:00 North Korea v Australia match.  Overnight Bangkok

Day 3: 28^th October.  Optional Bangkok Day Tour Activity Floating Market, Temples & Grand Palace. Overnight Bangkok

Day 4: 29^th October. Optional Bangkok Day Tour Activity River Kwai & WWII Death Railway. Overnight Bangkok

Day 5: 30^th October. Match Day. Mid-morning transfer to our Pattaya Resort hotel where will enjoy our pre-match luncheon event. After lunch we transfer to Chonburi Stadium for the 19:00 Thailand v Australia match.  Overnight Pattaya

Day 6: 31^st October. Free morning. In the afternoon Optional Tour Activity Underwater World. Overnight Pattaya

Day 7: 1^st November. Free morning. In the afternoon we visit Young Matildas training (subject to FFA approval). Overnight Pattaya

Day 8: 2^nd November. Match Day. Mid-morning transfer to our pre-match luncheon event venue. After lunch we transfer to IPE Chonburi Stadium for the 16:00 Vietnam v Australia match.  Overnight Pattaya

Day 9: 3^rd November. Group Stage Tour ends.

R16 & QTR’s MACRO ITINERARY

Day 1: 3^rd November: Guests arrive into Pattaya and settle in at the tour hotel. For those guests continuing on from the Group Phase Tour this day is a designated free rest day. Enjoy the infinity pool or tackle some water sports at the hotel’s private beach. Overnight Pattaya.

Day 2: 4^th November: Optional Pattaya Day Tour Activity Pattaya Orientation includes temples, lunch & traditional Thai massage. Overnight Pattaya

Day 3: 5^th November: Optional Pattaya Day Tour Activity Koh Larn Island Beach by speedboat & includes seafood lunch. Overnight Pattaya

Day 4: 6^th November. Match Day. Mid-morning transfer to our pre-match luncheon event venue. After lunch we transfer to Chonburi Stadium for the 16:00 Semi Final 1 & 20:00 Semi Final 2 matches.  Overnight Pattaya

Day 5: 7^th November. Free morning. In the afternoon Optional Tour Activity Noongnooch Garden/Zoo & Village. Overnight Pattaya

Day 6: 8^th November. Free morning. In the afternoon we visit Young Matildas training (subject to FFA approval). Overnight Pattaya

Day 7: 9^th November. Match Day. Mid-morning transfer to our pre-match luncheon event venue. After lunch we transfer to Chonburi Stadium for the 16:00 3v4 Playoff & 20:00 Final matches.  Overnight Pattaya
