The skyline is crowned by the 509m-tall, bamboo-shaped Taipei 101 skyscraper, with upscale shops at the base and a rapid elevator to an observatory near the top. Taipei is also known for its lively street-food scene and many night markets, making it an ideal destination for us to visit.

Taipei: Royal Inn Taipei Linsen (3.5 Star)

Royal Inn Taipei Linsen features modern and cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi and is located between Zhongshan MRT Station and Shandou Temple MRT Station. Songshan Airport is a 15-minute drive from  the hotel. Each air-conditioned room has a large window and sofa. A flat-screen cable TV, DVD player and safe are included. Private bathroom comes with a shower, washlet and hairdryer. Free newspapers (Chinese, English or Japanese) and bottled water are provided. Free laundry service for underwear and socks is also available. Located Zhongshan District is a great choice for travellers interested in gourmet food, culture and friendly locals.

Day 1: 13^th October: Guests arrive into Taipei and settle in at the tour hotel and in the evening informally meet fellow tour participants & guides at our Welcome Drinks event. Guests arriving on our group flight will be met by GGArmy staff and transferred to the hotel by coach. Overnight Taipei.

Day 2: 14^th October: After breakfast we depart on our full-day city tour to explore Taipei. The tour will take in the Presidential Hall, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Martyrs’ Shrine, National Palace Museum, The Grand Hotel, Hsing Tian Kong (Xingtian Temple) and take in the views from the observatory deck at the amazing Taipei 101 Building. In the evening enjoy the local restaurant and bar scene. Overnight Taipei.

Day 3: 15th October.  Match Day. Enjoy our legendary GGArmy match day experience which includes a 2.5 hour pre-match event inclusive of food, alcohol & entertainment. We then head by fast train to the Kaohsiung National Stadium for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification match Chinese Taipei v Australia. There is nothing like supporting the Socceroos on the road. All transfers included. Overnight Taipei.

Day 4: 16^th October. Tour ends and we head home with 3 points in the bank.
