Ellie Carpenter got an assist to initiate Olympique Lyon’s stirring 3-2 comeback victory over PSG in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
Lyon trailed 2-0 in the first leg on home turf, before Carpenter’s pass for Kadidiatou Diani to pull one back in the 80th minute.
Carpenter got down the right wing and received Diani’s pass, before taking one touch and cutting back for her teammate to poke home.
Lyon added two more goals inside the next six minutes to win it and take a slim advantage in to the second leg.
In the other semi-final, Sam Kerr’s Chelsea triumphed 1-0 away to Barcelona.
The second legs will both be played next weekend.
In the English Women’s Super League on Sunday, Caitlin Foord and Steph Catley both got assists in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Remy Siemsen’s Leicester City.
Foord, who played 82 minutes from the start, produced a deft pass into the box for Beth Mead’s 28th minute opener.
Catley returned to the centre-back role and played the full 90 minutes. The Matildas vice-captain assisted Alessia Russo’s 75th minute goal to make it 2-0, advancing forward with a strong tackle before a lay-off.
Siemsen was an unused sub for the Foxes. Kyra Cooney-Cross was absent for the Gunners.
Alanna Kennedy and Mary Fowler both played full games as Manchester City put five past Mackenzie Arnold in their 5-0 win over West Ham United.
Teagan Micah was back in goal for Liverpool and kept a clean sheet in their 1-0 victory at Bristol City.
Clare Wheeler put in a full shift in Everton’s 2-1 win at Brighton, while Charlotte Grant went unused as Tottenham drew 2-2 at Manchester United.
Amy Sayer scored her first goal of the Swedish Damallsvenskan season in a 3-1 home loss for Kristianstad against Rosengard.
Sayer, who started and played 76 minutes, scored a consolation goal in the 49th minute with her side trailing 3-0. Clare Polkinghorne put in a full shift.

Hayley Raso was a 67th minute substitute and got an assist for Real Madrid in their 4-2 win over Levante in Spain’s Primera Division Feminina.
Real netted three goals after Raso’s introduction with the Matildas winger setting up Linda Caicedo’s 86th minute goal for 3-1.
Emily van Egmond played a full game while Kaitlyn Torpey was a 46th minute substitute in San Diego Wave’s 1-0 loss at Orlando Pride in the NWSL.
