Sam Kerr scored in midweek in the UEFA Champions League before being restricted in Chelsea’s 5-1 win over Liverpool on Saturday in the Women’s Super League.
Kerr failed to score in the lopsided result but provided an assist for Lauren James’ 56th minute goal to make it 3-1.
The Matildas skipper started and played 75 minutes on Saturday, having taken her season tally to three goals with her midweek goal against Real Madrid.
Kerr was involved in the lead-up to Agnes Beever-Jones’ 24th minute goal, flicking wide for James who provided the cross for the goal.
The Australian calmly held up play when outnumbered, then dished out to James on the left who produced a fine finish from an angle for 3-1. Teagan Micah was unused for Liverpool.
Caitlin Foord netted her second goal in two games as Arsenal beat Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0 on Sunday.
Foord scored Arsenal’s second goal to make the points safe in the 80th minute, swooping on an errant pass before a low strike from outside the box.
Foord put in a full shift while Kyra Cooney-Cross got another start, playing 80 minutes. Steph Catley was a 65th minute sub.
Charlize Rule came on at half-time for Brighton while Mackenzie Hawkesby was unused.
Alanna Kennedy played a full game while Mary Fowler was an 89th minute sub as Manchester City beat rivals Manchester United 3-1 in the derby.
Clare Wheeler played a full game as Everton drew 2-2 with Bristol City, while Courtney Nevin put in a full shift as Leicester City drew 1-1 with Tottenham. Fit-again Remy Siemsen was an unused sub.

Hayley Raso started but was replaced at half-time as Real Madrid were hammered 5-0 by Barcelona, trailing 3-0 at the break, in the Spanish Primera Division Femenina on Sunday.
Norway’s Toppserien concluded on Saturday with Larissa Crummer starting and playing 79 minutes as Brann drew 2-2 with Lillestrom to round out their campaign.
Brann, who were 2022 champions, finished the season in fourth with Crummer netting three goals.

Real equalized from the penalty spot five minutes later, with Raso coming on late as an 89th minute substitute.

Aivi Luik put in a full shift as Swedish club BK Hacken won 2-1 at Paris FC, while Clare Hunt started and played 83 minutes as PSG lost 2-0 at Ajax.
