Charlotte Grant signed off from club duty prior to the 2023 Women’s World Cup with an assist as Vittsjo won 6-1 over Kristianstad in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.
Grant laid off the pass for Clara Markstedt’s goal to make it 5-1 in the 69th minute with a hopeful long ball forward from within her own half that released her teammate who did the rest.
Grant started and played 93 minutes, while Katrina Gorry also started and got through 85 minutes.
Gorry was involved in the lead-up play for Vittsjo’s 19th minute equaliser after Kristianstad went ahead early, with the Matildas midfielder controlling an awkward pass before poking wide to Linda Sallstrom whose shot was parried to Jutta Rantala to sweep home.
