Sam Kerr scored her first goal this month as Chelsea eased past Bristol City 3-0 in the English Women’s Super League on Sunday.

Kerr took her season tally to eight goals with a 59th minute strike to make it 3-0, before being replaced in the 65th minute.

The Matildas forward hadn’t scored in Chelsea’s previous two games, after netting seven goals in all competitions during November.

Kerr nodded home after Fran Kirby released Guro Reiten down the left flank, lofting in a cross for the Matildas forward to put home in trademark style on the bounce.

Teagan Micah made more important saves to help the ambitious Liverpool to a 2-1 win away to Manchester United on Sunday.

Micah is enjoying a good run as the Reds’ preferred goalkeeper, starting three straight league games and continues to validate that selection.

The Matildas deputy made numerous good saves, including a sharp block to deny Hannah Blundell late on as United chased an equalizer.

Mackenzie Arnold was back in the West Ham United matchday squad but remained an unused substitute for their 1-1 draw away to Leicester City.

Arnold had missed the Hammers’ past two games along with the recent Matildas matches against Canada with an arm injury.

Hammers manager Rehanne Skinner this week explained: “We’re unsure about Mackenzie at this stage. She’s still working her way back from a tricep tear.”

Courtney Nevin played a full game for Leicester, while Remy Siemsen was an 88th minute sub.

Caitlin Foord rattled the upright with a first-half effort as Arsenal were left frustrated as they slumped to a 1-0 loss at Tottenham on Saturday.

Foord and Steph Catley both played full games, while Kyra Cooney-Cross was a 65th minute substitute.

Cooney-Cross’ late goalbound volley was headed away, while Foord was guilty of spurning a few opportunities too.

Alanna Kennedy was unavailable while Mary Fowler came on as a 74th minute substitute for Manchester City in their 4-1 win at Clare Wheeler’s Everton. Wheeler played a full game.

Youngsters Mackenzie Hawkesby and Charlize Rule were both absent as Brighton lost 1-0 at Aston Villa.

Ellie Carpenter played a full game and led the celebrations as per usual as Olympique Lyon won 3-1 away to Fleury 91 in the French Feminine Division 1 on Saturday.

Clare Hunt was a 46th minute substitute for PSG as they won the derby 2-1 over Paris FC on Sunday.

Hayley Raso put in a full shift on the right wing as Real Madrid triumphed 2-0 at Levante Las Palmas in the Spanish Primera Division Femenina on Sunday.
