Clare Hunt earned a 6/10 rating as Tottenham beat Katrina Gorry’s West Ham United 2-1 in the English Women’s Super League while Hayley Raso missed the game but is close to a return.
Raso has been sidelined for several weeks with injury but returned to training during the international break. But Sunday’s game was too soon, meaning she sat it out.
Hunt played a full game for Spurs, while Charlotte Grant was an unused sub in the win which ended with a bizarre Camila Saez own goal to clinch the win for Tottenham.
Vavel.com rated Hunt 6/10 and wrote: “The more composed centre-back out of the two, and showed her leadership qualities throughout. Hunt is becoming a key player for the Lilywhites.”
Katrina Gorry put in a full shift for the Hammers, who are sitting 11th in the 12-team league.
