Clare Polkinghorne made it two goals in two games as Kristianstad beat Brommapojkarna 2-0 in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.

Polkinghorne, who played a full game, netted in the 51st minute, lashing home from a rebound inside the box following a corner.

Remy Siemsen started and played 66 minutes for Kristianstad.

Elsewhere, Jada Whyman put in a full shift and kept a clean sheet in AIK’s 1-0 win over Linkoping, for whom Polly Doran started and played 76 minutes.

Ellie Carpenter provided an assist in Olympique Lyon’s 6-0 victory over Strasbourg in the French Premiere Ligue.

Carpenter whipped in a diagonal pass from the right wing for Lindsey Horan’s headed goal in the 38th minute to make it 2-0. The Matilda put in a full shift.

Sarah Hunter was also in action, starting and playing 65 minutes in Paris FC’s 8-0 triumph over Le Havre.

It was a relatively quiet weekend for our Matildas in the English Women’s Super League, where Mary Fowler dragged an effort wide in Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

Fowler came on in the 77th minute of the win, while Alanna Kennedy was an unused substitute.

Katrina Gorry put in a full shift in West Ham United’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool. Gorry was the Hammers’ fans second pick for best afield.

Kyra Cooney-Cross and Caitlin Foord both started in Arsenal’s 1-0 triumph away to Leicester City.

Cooney-Cross started and played 58 minutes, while Foord was replaced deep into second-half stoppage-time.

Courtney Nevin was a 71st minute substitute for Leicester.

Clare Wheeler put in a full shift in Everton’s 1-0 home defeat to Manchester United.

Clare Hunt played a full game and Hayley Raso started and played 77 minutes in Tottenham’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa. Charlotte Grant went unused.
