Emily van Egmond made her first start since returning from a two-month injury absence but was replaced at half-time as San Diego Wave lost 2-1 to OL Reign in the United States’ NWSL.
Van Egmond had been sidelined for almost two months with a back issue, but returned with a brief cameo off the bench last weekend, playing eight minutes in a 2-1 loss to Angel City.

Teagan Micah made it three straight games after returning from a six-month head injury, putting in a full shift as Rosengard drew 1-1 at Orebro in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.
Kyra Cooney-Cross played a full game as second-placed Hammarby won 2-0 at Vittsjo, for whom Charlotte Grant put in a full shift and Katrina Gorry started and played 65 minutes.
Aivi Luik played the full 90 minutes as BK Hacken won 3-0 over Vaxjo to remain top of the league by three points from Hammarby.
Larissa Crummer put in a full shift in attack as Brann lost 2-0 at home to Lillestrom in Norway’s Toppserien.
