Martin Boyle came off the bench to provide an assist for Socceroos hopeful Ante Suto in Hibernian’s 3-0 win over Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Suto netted Hibs’ third goal in the third minute of second-half stoppage time, sliding home a finish from Boyle’s low ball across ball from the right flank.

Boyle had only entered into the game in the 88^th minute, before setting up Suto, who was also a substitute, coming on in the 64^th minute.

Suto received a 6/10 rating for his cameo from Edinburgh Evening News, who wrote: “Showed plenty of willing in brief outing – and took his goal well with virtually last kick of the game.”

Boyle did get a rating for his brief stint but Edinburgh Evening News wrote: “Thrown into fray with 88 minutes on the clock, he set up the third.”

Jack Iredale put in a full shift and received a 6.5/10 rating: “Kept on his toes by a visiting side who recovered from going 2-0 down to stretch the Hibs defence.”

Zac Sapsford was on the scoresheet for Dundee United in their 4-2 loss away to Rangers.

Sapsford, who was a 64^th minute substitute, netted United’s second goal for 3-2 in the 72^nd minute.

Aussie keeper Ash Maynard-Brewer started for the Tangerines but went off in the 58^th minute with a shoulder injury.

United boss Jim Goodwin said: “I think Ash has dislocated his shoulder. So, it’ll be an absence of however long that takes. It’s going to be a couple of weeks at least, possibly more. We’ll get it scanned and see if there’s any other kind of damage within it.”

In Italy’s Serie A, Alessandro Circati put in a full shift in Parma’s 1-1 draw at Lazio, while Cristian Volpato started and played 58 minutes in Sassuolo’s 2-1 win over Cagliari.

In Spain’s La Liga, Mat Ryan played the full game as relegation-battling Levante were downed 2-0 by Real Sociedad.

In Austria’s Bundesliga, Jacob Italiano started and played 89 minutes for Grazer AK in a 2-1 win over Linz.

In USA’s MLS, Lucas Herrington (Colorado Rapids) and Alex Bonetig (Portland Timbers) both played full games while Aiden O’Neill (New York City) played 88 minutes and Patrick Yazbek (Nashville) was a 61^st minute substitute.
