Ajdin Hrustic was handed a start in Eintracht Frankfurt’s 1-0 home defeat to German champions and leaders Bayern Munich on Saturday, earning a 6.5/10 rating.

Hrustic started and played 82 minutes in the loss where Leroy Sane netted a 71st-minute winner.

First Sportz rated Hrustic 6.5/10 and wrote: “The attacking midfielder was able to carry the ball well into attacking areas and make good progressive passes.”

Awer Mabil was sent off late in Kasimpasa’s 2-1 home loss to Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday.

Mabil had come on in the 60th minute and laid off the cross from the left flank for Jackson Muleka’s equaliser, before seeing Fenerbahce restore their lead in the 91st minute.

In Mabil’s haste to find an equaliser, he pushed an opponent in the 97th minute after winning a free-kick and trying to play the ball fast, with the referee giving him a second yellow card for the offence, leaving the Australian stunned.

Tom Rogic had a rare poor game as Celtic drew 0-0 away to Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Rogic started and played 58 minutes, earning a 5/10 rating from The Scotsman who wrote: ” The Hoops lacked their usual spark in midfield with Tom Rogic particularly flat compared to recent displays and it was no surprise to see him replaced after an hour.”

Cameron Devlin scored as Hearts won 2-0 at St Mirren, netting his side’s second goal in the 67 minute.

Devlin started and scored with a cool finish from a rebound, before being replaced two minutes later. Nathaniel Atkinson started and played 56 minutes, while Matt Millar was an unused sub for St Mirren.

The Scotsman rated Devlin 6/10 and wrote: “Up and down afternoon for the little midfielder. First half passed him by but took up better positions in second but booked for coming together with Tait over penalty claim. Scored shortly before being subbed.”

The Scotsman rated Atkinson 5/10 and added: “Caution in the first half took the wind out of his sails a little, then subbed for Cochrane in the second half.”

Kenny Dougall provided two assists as Blackpool won 4-1 over Reading in the English Championship. The Gazette rated Dougall 8/10 and wrote: “Constantly harrying, covering ground and making important interceptions. Provided the corner for Madine’s goal.”

Riley McGree missed Middlesbrough’s 3-2 loss to Barnsley with an unspecified injury but it was apparently precautionary so nothing serious.

Bailey Wright scored Sunderland’s opening goal in their 3-0 win at Wigan in League One.

Joel King started and put in a full shift at left-back again for OB in their 2-2 draw with Awer Mabil’s parent club Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga on Sunday.

Milos Degenek made his debut for Columbus Crew, putting in a full shift as they won 4-0 over Vancouver Whitecaps on the opening weekend of the MLS.

Mitch Duke spurned a first-half penalty before being replaced prior to the hour mark as Fagiano Okayama drew 1-1 with Tokushima Vortis in the J2.League.
