Jacob Italiano netted a hat-trick for Graz AK in their 5-1 win over Tirol in the Austrian Bundesliga relegation group.
Italiano rifled in a stunning equalizer when he lashed a right-foot volley home from the edge of the box in the 23rd minute.
The Australian did it again in the 65th minute for 4-1, unleashing another rocket with a right-foot volley from outside the box after a corner was partially cleared.
Italiano completed his hat-trick in the 85th minute after a Tirol handball led to a penalty, with the Socceroo sending the keeper the wrong way.
The hat-trick comes after Italiano missed more than two months in November to January with a calf injury, before enjoying a good run of starts for Graz as he pushes his World Cup case. The goals were Italiano’s first of the season.
Deni Juric scored a double, making it three goals in two games, as Wisla Plock won 2-1 at Jagiellonia in the Polish Ekstraklasa.
Juric took his season tally to five goals from 13 games in the win, tapping home from close range for 1-1 in the 20th minute.
In the 33rd minute Juric had his second, producing a deft touch from another low ball from the left flank for 2-1.
Cammy Devlin made his return after more than two months out with an ankle injury as Hearts secured another important win in their bid to clinch the Scottish Premiership.
Devlin started and played 76 minutes in the 1-0 triumph over Dundee, marking his first game since January 14.
Edinburgh Evening News rated Devlin 7/10 and wrote: “Back from injury and tried to be everywhere. Won some tackles, mistimed a couple, but played well.”

In USA’s MLS, Archie Goodwin came off the bench to score a brace in Charlotte’s 6-1 rout of New York Red Bulls.
The 21-year-old Aussie was introduced in the 75th minute and scored two minutes later for 5-0 with a well-placed header after losing his marker inside the box.
In the 93rd minute, Goodwin added another, tapping home on the bounce with his left after a inch-perfect cross from Liel Abada.
Patrick Yazbek played 68 minutes in Nashville’s 5-0 win over Orlando, while Kye Rowles (DC United) and Lucas Herrington (Colorado) both played full games.
Mat Ryan put in a full shift as Levante won 4-2 over last-placed Real Oviedo to boost their survival hopes in the Spanish La Liga.
Ryan had a mixed game, as Levante blew a two-goal with the Socceroo almost saving Federico Vinas’ spotkick. Ryan fluffed an attempted clearance which almost allowed Santi Cazorla to score.
The result sees Levante remain in 19th but close within two points of safety, with Alaves in 17th.
Alessandro Circati started and played an hour in Parma’s 2-0 home loss to Cremonese in Italy’s Serie A.
Cristian Volpato started and played 69 minutes in Sassuolo’s 1-1 draw at Juventus.
Antonio Arena was a 75th minute substitute for AS Roma in their 1-0 win over Lecce on Sunday.
Jordan Bos played the full 90 in Feyenoord’s 1-1 draw with Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.
Max Balard started and played 87 minutes as struggling NAC Breda lost 2-1 at PEC Zwolle. Ajdin Hrustic put in a full shift and Rhys Bozinovski started and played 72 minutes in last-placed Heracles’ 1-1 draw with Excelsior.
Meanwhile, Cam Peupion’s ADO Den Haag secured promotion back to the top flight in midweek.
Jackson Irvine put in a full shift and Connor Metcalfe was an 84th minute substitute for St Pauli in their 2-1 home loss to SC Freiburg in the German Bundesliga on Sunday. The result leaves St Pauli in the bottom three with seven games to play.
Gianni Stensness played the full game in Viking’s 4-1 home victory over Molde in the Norwegian Eliteserien on Sunday.
Marco Tilio was back on the bench but remained unused in Rapid Vienna’s 4-2 win over LASK in the Austrian Bundesliga on Sunday. Tilio hadn’t been in a Rapid matchday squad since January 31.
In England’s Championship, Riley McGree and Nestory Irankunda both played full games for Middlesbrough and Watford respectively in 0-0 draws, while Cam Burgess played the full 90 in Swansea City’s 3-0 home loss to leaders Coventry.
Daniel Bennie was an 83rd minute substitute and Kealey Adamson went unused in QPR’s 6-1 win over Adrian Segecic’s Portsmouth.
In League One, Joe Gauci kept a clean sheet in Port Vale’s 1-0 win over Bolton. That result helped Alex Robertson’s second-placed Cardiff City who drew 0-0 with Blackpool. Robertson started and played 62 minutes, with the result seeing Cardiff move 11 points clear of third-placed Bolton with seven games to play in the race for automatic promotion.
