Harry Souttar cannoned a 95th minute header into the crossbar as Leicester City lost 1-0 to relegation battlers Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday.

Souttar received a 6/10 rating from Leicestershire Live who wrote: “He won a lot of headers, made good blocks, and mopped up well when his team-mates left him to defend by himself.

“A few passes went astray, but they didn’t put City in trouble, and otherwise he used the ball well. He’ll wonder how he missed that big chance at the end.”

Riley McGree started and played 68 minutes as promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough thrashed Dean Bouzanis’ Reading 5-0.

McGree earned an 8/10 rating from Evening Gazette who wrote: “Another confident display from Boro’s Australian international. Even more fluid than usual as he switched sides with Ramsey regularly, he always wanted the ball and always wanted to make things happen for his side.”

Bouzanis put in a full shift for the Royals.

Aaron Mooy got an assist as Celtic came from behind to win 5-1 at Keanu Baccus and Ryan Strain‘s St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Mooy, who started and played 74 minutes, laid off the pass for Liel Abada to make it 3-1 in the 70th minute.

Mooy earned a 6/10 rating from the Scottish Daily Express, who wrote: “Has been a top performer for the Hoops this season, but has dropped off slightly in the last couple of matches.”

Baccus played a full game while Strain was replaced in the 62nd minute.

Aziz Behich and Mark Birighitti both played full games as Dundee United lost 3-1 at home to Aberdeen on Sunday. Birighitti shook off a shoulder injury sustained a fortnight ago to take his place.

Substitute Garang Kuol hit the woodwork late with a cross-cum-shot as Kye Rowles returned from injury as Hearts won 3-0 over St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.

Rowles started and put in a full shift, while Kuol was a 79th minute substitute. Cammy Devlin came on in the 78th minute too, with Nathaniel Atkinson an unused sub.

Rowles earned a 7/10 rating from the Edinburgh Evening News who wrote: “Returned to the line-up after injury and was generally solid. Almost cost Hearts a late goal with a poor back pass as he was bailed out by Kingsley.”

Kuol was rated 6/10: “Unlucky to hit the bar with a late shot.” Devlin was rated 6/10 too: “Displayed his usual work rate.”

Mat Ryan kept a clean sheet on Friday night as second-placed AZ Alkmaar won 1-0 at Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Cristian Volpato was unused on the bench s AS Roma edged Juventus in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.

Fran Karacic was replaced at half-time after a first-half booking as Brescia drew 1-1 with Cagliari in Serie B. Brescia are in the drop zone and winless in 14 games.

Awer Mabil came off the bench in the 69th minute and got an assist as Sparta Prague won 4-1 over Teplice in the Czech 1.Liga.

Denis Genreau was an unused substitute as Toulouse lost 1-0 at home to Clermont in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Jason Davidson started and played 78 minutes as KAS Eupen lost 2-1 at Union SG in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.

Mitch Duke started and played 88 minutes up front as Machida Zelvia won 2-1 at Kanazawa in the Japanese J2 League on Sunday.
