Alex Chidiac’s availability for the upcoming Matildas matches is in doubt after sustaining an injury in the National Women’s Soccer League over the weekend.
Chidiac was replaced in the sixth minute in Racing Louisville’s 2-2 draw at Washington Spirit due to a broken nose.
The Matildas are yet to confirm any changes to whether Chidiac will link up with the squad for the matches against Spain (June 25) and Portugal (June 28) but the player revealed the injury on social media in a lighthearted way.
