Caitlin Foord was among the goals as Arsenal produced a remarkable turnaround win over Ellie Carpenter’s Olympique Lyon to secure a spot in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final.
The Gunners trailed 2-1 from their first-leg defeat in London, but rallied back to triumph 4-1 in Lyon to progress to the decider against Barcelona.
Foord made it 4-0 in the 63rd minute, lashing her strike into the roof of the net after a Vanessa Gilles’ slip.
Foord put in a full shift and was among the top-rated players for Arsenal. Steph Catley also played a full game while Kyra Cooney-Cross was an 87th minute sub.
Carpenter played the full 90 minutes for eight-time European champions Lyon.
In England’s Women’s Super League, Clare Hunt scored in Tottenham’s 2-2 draw away to Liverpool.
Hunt side-footed home a volley from a corner to put Spurs up 2-1 in the 31st minute.
The Matildas defender put in a full shift, while Charlotte Grant was a 66th minute sub. Hayley Raso was absent. Teagan Micah went unused for Liverpool.

Katrina Gorry only played the first half but got an assist as West Ham United hammered relegated Crystal Palace 7-1.
Emily van Egmond played a full game as Birmingham City missed a golden opportunity to push for automatic promotion with a 1-1 draw at Newcastle in the Championship.
In Sweden’s Damallsvenskan, Amy Sayer made her successful return from a long-term ACL injury for Kristianstad.
Sayer was a 65th minute substitute for Remy Siemsen, as they drew 1-1 with Pitea this weekend.
She had returned with a 12-minute cameo last Monday against Rosengard, having sustained the injury in late April last year, which saw her miss the Paris Olympics.
