Martin Boyle scored one goal and set up the other in Hibernian’s 2-2 draw with Rangers to close out the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
Boyle laid off the assist with a cutback for Kieron Bowie’s 16th minute strike to make it 1-1, before his 66th minute goal squared the game up at 2-2.
In light-hearted ratings from the Edinburgh Evening News to mark the end of the season, they wrote about Boyle: “He’s, you know, dynamite. Worth every penny of whatever it’s costing Hibs to keep him around for another year.
“Still crackers, in all the very best ways, but with added leadership skills. Set up the first, scored the second. Average shift for the Socceroos star these days.”
Hibs finished the season in third, qualifying for the Europa League. Boyle ended the campaign with 15 league goals, equal fourth.
