Tom Rogic provided the assist for the winning goal as Celtic defeated Martin Boyle’s Hibernian 2-1 to lift the Scottish League Cup on Sunday.
Rogic lifted a ball in behind the Hibs defence before Japanese midfielder Kyogo Furuhashi produced a magical finish for the 72nd minute winner.
Earlier, Boyle had got the assist for Hibs’ goal which put them ahead, lofting in a corner for Paul Hanlon to head home early in the second half.
Rogic received a 7/10 rating from Football.Scotland who wrote: “Shackled well by Hibs who had three players around him every time he touched the ball.
“Decision making on the day perhaps not at its best, passing up the chance to play in Kyogo on a handful of occasions. But when he’s on it, he’s on it and his quick free-kick took everyone off guard for Kyogo’s second.”
Boyle got a 6/10 rating: “Some brief flashes from the winger but didn’t cause a huge amount of problems.”
