Riley McGree made his Middlesbrough debut as a 66th minute substitute in a 4-1 home win over Derby County in the English Championship on Saturday.
McGree joined surging Boro last month from MLS club Charlotte after finishing his loan spell with Birmingham City.
Gazette Live gave McGree a 6/10 for his cameo and wrote: “Without shining, he helped Boro maintain their control.”
Massimo Luongo only earned a 6/10 after a full game in Sheffield Wednesday’s 2-0 home loss to Rotherham United in League One. Yorkshire Live wrote: “Coughed up possession a couple of times but gave the Owls bite and aggression in the middle of the park. Drifted in and out of the contest.”
Bailey Wright put in a full shift as Sunderland drew 1-1 at AFC Wimbledon. Sunderland Gazette rated him 6/10 and wrote: “Did OK on his return to the side and had a late chance to score a winner.”
Tom Rogic provided an assist as Celtic eased into the Scottish FA Cup quarter-finals with a 4-0 win over Raith Rovers on Sunday.
Rogic, who started and played 69 minutes, laid off the pass for Liam Scales’ 22nd minute opener.

Jackson Irvine put in a full shift as St Pauli ended their five-game winless league run to return to the top of the 2.Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory at Jahn Regensburg.
Awer Mabil also made his debut for new club Kasimpasa in a 2-2 draw with Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Mabil, who joined Kasimpasa last month on loan from Midtjylland, was a 58th minute substitute and helped his side overturn a 1-0 deficit when he arrived on the pitch.
