Club action is yet to fully return in the women’s game but Matildas defender Clare Hunt made the news this week, sealing a move from PSG to Tottenham.
Hunt has joined Spurs on a three-year contract, joining a long list of Aussie players in the English Women’s Super League, along with Charlotte Grant at Tottenham.
The 25-year-old centre-back had only signed with PSG in September last year and was contracted until 2026, although she wasn’t a regular last term, making 13 appearances.

“I was drawn to Spurs for the way they play, the club culture that is here and, for me, it feels like an environment where I can contribute,” Hunt told SPURSPLAY.
“The league has so much exposure, there’s some of the best players in the world competing here and, I think, to play alongside them and against them, week in, week out, will help me develop as a person and as a footballer.
“My biggest goal is to contribute all my experience and continue to build my value and give back to the Club. I’m really keen to get started.”
Hunt’s move is the latest off-season transfer activity, following on from goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold’s switch from West Ham United to USA club Portland Thorns.
Hayley Raso is on the lookout for a new club after being released by Spanish giants Real Madrid.
