Caitlin Foord and Mary Fowler both provided two assists each as both Arsenal and Manchester City recorded good wins in the English Women’s Super League on Sunday.
Foord played a lead role in Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Tottenham, with Clare Hunt conceding an unfortunate own goal for Spurs.
Arsenal took the lead in the 15th minute after Hayley Raso ill-advisedly kept the ball in on the wing, allowing Kyra Cooney-Cross to whip in a cross which Hunt diverted into her own net.
Foord jinked inside and laid off for Frida Maanum to score in the 51st minute with a deflected effort for 3-0.
In the 58th minute, Foord danced forward in a three-on-two situation, playing in Alessia Russo to slide home the fourth.
Hunt put in a full shift, Raso started and played an hour while Charli Grant was an 82nd minute sub.
Steph Catley and Cooney-Cross both started and played 76 minutes, while Foord got through 61 minutes.
A five-star performance but who gets your Player of the Match vote, Gooners? 🤔

Fowler provided the passes for both of Khadija Shaw’s goals in Man City’s 4-0 triumph over Teagan Micah’s Liverpool.
The Matildas forward found Shaw who turned sharply and finished across Micah for the opener in the 30th minute.
Shortly before half-time, Fowler found Shaw, albeit with a pass at waist height, with the Jamaican doing well to fire home a half volley.
