Steph Catley, Caitlin Foord and Kyra Cooney-Cross all played in front of a Women’s Super League record crowd as Arsenal beat Manchester United 3-1 on Saturday.
A record crowd of 60,160 turned out at Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners piling on three first-half goals to run away with victory.
Catley returned to the starting line-up at left-back, playing 84 minutes, replaced by Foord. Cooney-Cross was a 46th minute substitute. None of the trio really had any major attacking moments.
Elsewhere, Mary Fowler and Alanna Kennedy continue to only play bit-parts for Manchester City who won 1-0 at Sam Kerr’s Chelsea.
Fowler and Kennedy were both 90th minute substitutes for City are level with leaders Chelsea on 34 points. Arsenal are looming in third on 31 points.
Clare Wheeler put in a full shift as Everton claimed a much-needed 2-0 home win over West Ham United. Mackenzie Arnold and Katrina Gorry both played full games for the Hammers.
West Ham started strong, with Gorry flashing wide an early low shot but Everton scored twice at the end. Arnold was caught flat-footed, with Martina Piemonte climbing highest to head home.

Teagan Micah was an unused substitute as fifth-placed Liverpool triumphed 1-0 at Brighton & Hove Albion.
Charlotte Grant started and played 75 minutes as Tottenham lost 2-1 at home to Aston Villa.
Courtney Nevin was unused and Remy Siemsen absent for Leicester City’s 5-2 win over Bristol City.
In Spain’s Primera Division Femenina, Hayley Raso was an 87th minute substitute before Real Madrid’s late winner in a 2-1 victory over Tenerife.
In France’s Feminine Division 1, Ellie Carpenter played a full game as Olympique Lyon beat Paris 1-0, while Clare Hunt went unused as PSG won 6-0 over Lille.
