Jordan Bos grabbed a double assist for Feyenoord in their 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Telstar in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday in a game where Raheem Sterling debuted for his new club.
Trailing 1-0, Bos showed some fancy footwork on the left flank before lobbing a cross for Anis Hadj Moussa who took his time before rifling home under the keeper on the half hour.
Bos was provider again in the 39th minute, dashing forward on transition before a well-placed pass into the box for Hadj Moussa to convert.
The Socceroo was replaced at half-time.
Ajdin Hrustic put in a full shift for Heracles who were beaten 4-0 at Go Ahead Eagles in a blow to their survival hopes.
Max Balard started and played 80 minutes for NAC Breda who claimed an important 1-0 win over FC Volendam in their relegation battle.
Cameron Peupion was a 62nd minute substitute for leaders ADO Den Haag who made it three straight wins in Eerste Divisie to pull eight points clear, beating Helmond Sport 3-1.
Jackson Irvine started and played 80 minutes as St Pauli claimed a critical three points in their bid to avoid the drop, beating Werder Bremen 2-1 in the German Bundesliga.
The result moves St Pauli above Werder into 16th in the relegation playoff spot, having won two of their past three games.
Alessandro Circati was absent due to suspension after an accumulation of yellow cards as Parma recorded a famous 1-0 win away to AC Milan at San Siro.
Mat Ryan’s Levante travelled to Camp Nou but were downed 3-0 by Barcelona despite the Australian making a string of good saves.
Among Ryan’s saves was a brilliant block to deny Raphinha from point-blank range, with Robert Lewandowski blasting the rebound over the bar.
Ryan also made a wonderful double save from Raphinha and Fermin Lopez in the latter stages of the game.
Garang Kuol was a 74th minute substitute for Sparta Prague in their 1-1 draw at Plzen in the Czech Chance Liga.
Aussie teenager Daniel Bennie came off the bench to score a sensational match-winning goal for QPR in their 3-1 triumph at Hull City in England’s Championship on Saturday.
Bennie was introduced in the 80th minute with scores 1-1, but unleashed a powerful strike from outside the box into the top corner to put his side ahead three minutes later.
The goal was 19-year-old Bennie’s first for QPR, since moving to England from Perth Glory in 2024.
The Hong Kong-born Perth-raised midfielder has managed seven league appearances this season, plus two in cup competitions, after playing 13 times for QPR last term. He has previously been used as a winger but is now getting an opportunity at centre-forward.
After his stunning goal, Bennie almost turned provider, swooping on a Hull defensive error to poke a throughball for Richard Kone who spurned a one-on-one opportunity with a tame effort.
QPR boss Julien Stephan said: “He has scored like this during training sessions and I said at the end of the game ‘Okay, now you are able to do that as well during the game’.”
“It’s tough for him. He’s a young player, very good mindset, came on with a lot of intensity and good quality.”

Elsewhere, Mohamed Toure maintained his productive form with an assist for Norwich City in their 2-1 home defeat to Birmingham City.
Toure cushioned down a cross into the box for Kenny McLean’s 67th minute goal, which got the Canaries back in the contest but they couldn’t find an equalizer.
Earlier in the second half, Toure had a close-range header saved and a left-foot strike hit the post.
The Socceroo started and played 71 minutes. He’s contributed five goals and an assist from four games since joining Norwich.
Cameron Burgess played a full game and earned a 7/10 rating for Swansea City in a 1-0 triumph over Bristol City.
Wales Online wrote: “Looked a little nervy when the ball was on the deck and was given a tough time by Sinclair Armstrong. But grew into the game really well and was a real force in the air.”
Adrian Segecic was a 70th minute substitute for Portsmouth who secured an important three points with a 3-1 win at Millwall.
The News wrote about Segecic: “A couple of good moments, although was too desperate for a goal.”
Nestory Irankunda started and played 68 minutes for Watford in a 2-0 home triumph over Derby County which keeps them in the promotion playoffs hunt.
Riley McGree was a 60th minute substitute for Middlesbrough in a 0-0 draw with Oxford United.
McGree was rated 6/10 by Teesside Live who wrote: “Tried as he may to make something happen, he struggled to get on the ball and do much with it, with minimal space offered to exploit.”
Sam Silvera missed the game following news that he’ll be out until the March international break with a stress fracture.

Lewis Miller missed Blackburn’s 1-0 win over Preston North End on Friday night, having been ruled out of the World Cup with an Achilles injury which will sideline him for nine months.
Keanu Baccus returned after two months out with a hamstring injury, playing the second half for St Mirren in a 5-0 home loss to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.
Baccus, 27, hadn’t played since suffering the injury in St Mirren’s League Cup final triumph over Celtic on December 14.
