Socceroo Jordan Bos’ dream move to Feyenoord from Westerlo has been completed after signing a four-year deal with the Dutch giants.
Feyenoord, who are 16-time Dutch Eredivisie champions, are currently managed by Dutch great Robin van Persie.
Bos has been signed to add depth to their left-back options, following the departures of Quilindschy Hartman to Burnley and Hugo Bueno returning to Wolverhampton.
The 22-year-old left-back, whose father is Dutch, actually supported Feyenoord as a child.
Bos told the Feyenoord website: “As a child, I didn’t experience much of the country outside of my summer holidays in the Netherlands, but I’ve had that shirt on my shoulders for countless days.
“So you could say I was partly raised with Feyenoord. It was always far away, literally and figuratively. The fact that I’m here now and a player is, of course, incredible in that respect. I know what De Kuip can be like, and now I get to really experience it as a player. Wonderful.”
Bos has flown to join Feyenoord’s first team immediately in their training camp in Grassau, Germany.

Edwards told reporters: “Riley just felt a tightness so that was more precaution. We’re hoping it’s no more than that.
“After the game on Saturday, Riley felt he wanted to work on the intensity a little bit more. I know that was in his head. He was flying around tonight, and I think he just felt things tighten up a little bit.”
