Noah Botic starred on Saturday with a double in Austria Vienna’s 3-2 away victory over Tirol in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The 23-year-old striker, who is yet to make his Socceroos debut, banged in two goals inside the opening 25 minutes.
Botic first struck in the second minute, playing Johannes Eggestein into space on the right flank before firing home his deflected cutback with a first-time left-foot finish.
In the 24th minute the pair combined again with Eggestein whipping in a ball from the left side this time, for Botic to side-foot home on the right foot for 2-0.
Botic has now scored three goals in his past three games for the Violets, after going goalless in his maiden seven appearances for the club following his move from Western United.

Elsewhere, Massimo Luongo exited Millwall’s 2-1 win at QPR after quarter of an hour due to a worrying leg injury which required him to be stretchered off, with fears of an ACL.
Millwall boss Alex Neil said: “When a player goes down, particularly as a senior player, and he doesn’t really move, and you start bringing things on to cart them off, it’s never a good sign.
“Looking at it, he planted his foot, he’s turned, and his knee went the opposite way. So we’ll see. We’ll get a scan on Monday, and we’ll see how that looks. A bit disappointed for him.”
Casper replaces Massimo, who is unfortunately stretchered off the pitch with a serious injury.
