Sam Kerr struggled in her second game back as Chelsea maintained their perfect start to the new English Women’s Super League season with a 1-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday.
Kerr, who returned from long-term injury with a goal off the bench, entered the game in the 69th minute on Sunday.
But the Matildas forward couldn’t make any major impact with Leicester’s defence resolute.
Kerr received a standing ovation upon her introduction in her first game back at home since her ACL injury.
Ellie Carpenter put in a full shift for the Blues, while Emily van Egmond played a full game for the Foxes.
