Nick D’Agostino scored a double including a spectacular overhead bicycle kick in Norway, while Josh Nisbet hit the winner for Ross County in Scotland.

In Norway’s Eliteserien, Nick D’Agostino grabbed a brace after coming on at half-time in Viking’s 5-1 win over Haugesend.

D’Agostino had only scored twice in 15 league appearances all campaign but came to life after a sensational goal put his side ahead 2-1 in the 55th minute.

Lars Jorgen Salvesen’s looped header from a right-wing cross offered little to D’Agostino but he found a pocket of space and produced a remarkable right-foot volley into the bottom corner for one of the goals of the season.

Four minutes later he had another, ghosting into space in the box and heading home Josh Urbancic’s left-flank cross.

Those goals make it three goals in five games for D’Agostino who spoke post-game about his magical strike.

Max Balard backed up from his Socceroos call-up with an assist in NAC Bredda’s 2-2 draw at Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Balard, who put in a full shift, provided the pass for Leo Sauer’s 31st minute goal for 1-0.

The Socceroo grabbed a loose ball inside the box, before jinking and laying back for Sauer to rifle home.

Jordan Bos netted his maiden goal of the Belgian Pro League season in Westerlo’s 4-0 home win over Kortrijk.

Bos came off the bench in the 79th minute, before adding the fourth in stoppage time.

Cameron Burgess earned a 7/10 rating for his 90-minute display in Ipswich Town’s 1-1 home draw with Manchester United in the English Premier League on Sunday.

East Anglian Daily Times wrote: “Did everything he needed to. Wasn’t really in frame for Man United’s goal but stood tall against their attacking players throughout.”

In Croatia’s Prva HNL, Anthony Kalik got an assist in Hajduk Split’s 2-2 draw at Osijek. Kalik started and played 55 minutes.

In Scotland’s Premiership, Josh Nisbet popped up with his maiden goal for Ross County in their 2-1 home win over Motherwell.

Nisbet netted in the 54th minute to put his side 2-0 up, managing to gather the ball on the edge of the box after a corner was half-cleared before curling home.

Nisbet put in a full shift, while Apostolos Stamatelopoulos started and played 83 minutes for ’Well. Johnny Koutroumbis was an unused sub.

Nectar Triantis scored an own goal from a corner as 10-man Hibernian slumped to a 4-1 loss to Dundee.

Triantis, who started and played 80 minutes, was rated 4/10 by the Edinburgh Evening News, who said he was “unlucky”.

Lewis Miller and Jack Iredale were both thrown on in the 34th minute, while Martin Boyle was relegated to the bench again, playing 25 minutes as a sub.

Kye Rowles and Cam Devlin were both rated 6/10 in Hearts’ 4-1 home loss to Celtic.

Rowles put in a full shift. Edinburgh Evening News wrote: “Put in some terrific blocks and headers. Was quick enough to stifle Kyogo at times but in the second half Celtic forwards ran free too often.”

Devlin started and played 79 minutes. Edinburgh Evening News wrote: “Read the game really well to pick up so many balls for Hearts in the first half. Got in about Celtic players as much as possible but faded after the break.”

Ryan Strain played a full game as Dundee United managed a 1-1 draw at Rangers.

In England’s Championship, Riley McGree grabbed an assist after coming off the bench in Middlesbrough’s 6-2 win at Oxford United.

Tom Glover was an unused sub for Boro, while McGree came on in the 75th minute earning a 7/10 rating from the Evening Gazette who wrote: “Kept Boro on the front foot with bright play and had a couple of decent openings before setting up Conway for his goal.”

Harry Souttar was rated 5/10 for his full shift in 10-man Sheffield United’s 2-2 draw at Coventry City.

The Star wrote: “Looked a little less composed than his usual self at times but still dominant in the air. Should have tested Collins in the first half when he rose highest to meet Burrows’ corner but it went off target. Lost his man far too easily for the equaliser and couldn’t prevent the cross reaching Bassette for the first.”

Alex Robertson started and played the first hour in Cardiff City’s 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday.

In England’s League One, Tyrese Francois exited Wigan’s 1-0 win at Barnsley shortly before half-time, unable to continue after a knock.

Young Aussie keeper Jacob Chapman made a brilliant late block to ensure Huddersfield beat Charlton 2-1. Ash Maynard-Brewer also put in a full shift in goal for Charlton.
